Meet our Aquatics Instructors

Molly Letcher
Molly took water aerobic classes at the JCC for two years and fell in love with it! She wanted to create that great environment and workout for other people and is now a certified instructor through the Aquatic Exercise Association. She is a wife to Larry, mom to three kids, and grandma to six perfect grandchildren. You can find Molly on the pool deck during select evening classes.

Ryan Gealy
Ryan started working for JCC of Youngstown four years ago. He has been swimming from a young age and has swum competitively up until his senior year of high school. He has experience coaching a varsity swim team and does well with teaching beginning swimmers all the way to competitive swimmers. He’s everyone’s favorite You & Me Baby teacher and loves working with his Swim Safe 500 and private lesson swimmers.

Emma Nardo
Emma started working at the JCC of Youngstown in October of 2020. She started swimming competitively when she was 8 years old. She then coached her local swim team for four years after high school and taught swimming lessons as well while being a lifeguard. Emma also works full time as a physical therapist assistant and loves teaching lessons part time. She has always known that she belongs in the water and loves teaching others to swim as well.

Hannah Hall
Hannah has been working for the JCC of Youngstown since February of 2019. She started as a teacher in the School of Dance, then made her way to the Aquatics Department as a Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, and Water Exercise Instructor. Hannah loves working in the pool with the kids and has enjoyed bonding with the participants in her morning exercise classes.

Joyce Loychik
Joyce began teaching aquatics in 2000, working at the YWCA, and later the YMCA of Warren for 10 years on a part-time basis. She came to the Jewish Community Center in 2010. Joyce is certified through the US Water Fitness Association, Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program Leader/Instructor Certification/Silver Sneakers, and Aquatic Fitness Professional Certification through the Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA). Joyce thoroughly enjoys being able to motivate, instruct, promote wellness, socialization, and provide enjoyment for the participants.

Cindy Krotky
Cindy has been an exercise enthusiast since she was in her twenties. Being a certified instructor for 25+ years is her passion and working at the Jewish Community Center since February 2014 has allowed her to do something she loves and that feels rewarding.  She enjoys teaching all ages in her classroom and at the pool using a variety of equipment including weights, stability ball, bench, resistance bands, and she also incorporates yoga poses in her choreography.  She always says “if you don’t use it you’ll lose it”.
