We broke membership records, massively grew total revenue, completed our inaugural Impact Report, raised over $150,000 from local foundations to continue our outdoor campus revitalization, and continued to welcome everyone, as an anchor of the North Side. We made major improvements to our Main Campus, including brand new locker rooms, a new welcome area with enhancements to security, and the only age-appropriate Infant & Toddler playground in the region. We celebrated summer together at our Logan Campus outdoor pool, welcomed a record number of campers at Camp JCC, and ran through the streets of Youngstown and Liberty during our inaugural JCC Dash & Splash 5K. New classes were added, including Taekwondo and Delay the Disease, a free class for Parkinson’s patients, and Water Women, a free swim lesson program for adult women. We also enhanced the PALS program to include free one-on-one swim lessons for anyone with developmental delays. We enhanced our Early Learning Center by including free swim lessons for all students ages six months and up, as well as other arts, music, and STEM-related enrichment activities. The new year will bring more exciting changes, including the unveiling of our brand new functional fitness space, which will add 1,000 square feet to our fitness center and will feature a high impact rubberized floor, TRX system, rowing machines, a heavy bag, and plenty of space for a variety of workouts. We look forward to breaking ground in the spring on our outdoor competitive-grade pickleball courts and a brand new campus pavilion. Have a happy and healthy 2019! Michael Rawl executive director
