Artist Bio

Nina Battaglia is a multimedia artist from Youngstown, Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Print Media with a minor in Ceramics from Kent State University. She is an art teacher at the TCESC’s STEAM Program, a designer and art instructor at the Medici Museum of Art in Warren, and an art instructor at the JCC of Youngstown’s Paul and Yetta Gluck School of Visual Arts.

Artist Statement

“My pieces are a reflection of my own life experiences and relationship with nature. With these ideas in mind, I use my art as a way to tell stories and celebrate cultural ideals that emerge through printmaking, drawing, painting, and sculpture.”
