Artist Bio

Liz Bulkley-Testa is a contemporary abstract artist from Youngstown. She is the great-great-granddaughter of Joseph G. Butler, founder of the Butler Institute of American Art. The artist began taking classes there in her early youth, which gave her a lifelong passion and appreciation for fine arts.

Liz is a studio artist and has had her artwork displayed throughout the country, earning many awards and commissions.

She resides in Canfield with her husband Chris and their daughter, Kitt.

Artist Statement

Liz says: “‘Through My Eyes’ is a collection of my most recent paintings. I found this title to be appropriate because I want the viewer to step inside and become part of the experience. My artwork tells a story with emotion and soul, with line and texture allowing me to express emotion with harmony and balance.”
