MINDFULNESS GROUP
Free your mind, body, and spirit with licensed social worker Shay Kahani-Erez. This mindfulness group will practice relaxing and recharging the mind. Benefits include reduction of stress and relief from emotional and physical pain. This event is free and open to all older adults.

Find the positive side of life. Licensed social worker Shay Kahani-Erez will help you learn how to deal with difficult people and situations, steps to increase happiness in your own life, and the secret to a happy life. AGING WELL LUNCH AND LEARNS
Disney Characters for Internal Process **CANCELED**
Do you relate to Winnie the Pooh’s obsession with honey? What about the funny and co-dependent relationship between Timon and Pumbaa? In this workshop, patients will utilize familiar characters and expressive art therapy to represent and examine their personalities, choices, relationships, and internal struggles. This workshop, based on research by Alexis Rae Burrow, MA, LPCC-S, CEAT, will be lead by licensed social worker Shay Kahani-Erez.

Skin Cancer: Risks, Signs, and Precautions
Thaer Khalaf, a medical student at The University of Antigua COM, will discuss skin cancer and related skin conditions. Learn the risks and early signs of skin cancer, the most common type of cancer in the U.S. and the most prevalent in older populations.
