Group Exercise Classes
Fitness classes will be offered with limited space. Reservations are recommended to ensure your spot. Guests without a reservation will be admitted to classes on a first come first serve basis until the class maximum is met.
This Abs class uses various positions, stations, and equipment to firm up four core, back and oblique abdominals. By developing a strong core, we are training the muscles in our back, hips, pelvis and abdomen to help perform our daily activities, reducing the risk of injury and creating better balance and posture.
This high intensity bootcamp style class offers a blend of weight training and cardio. Modifications are always provided so all are welcome.
Boot Camp Blitz
This intense circuit class works every muscle in your body. We’ll move through a variety of exercises designed to build strength and endurance while raising your heart rate.
This class includes circuit training, cardio exercises, bodyweight exercises, and light weights. This high-intensity class focuses on strength building and muscular endurance. Tone your entire body and build your cardiovascular capacity with this fun and intense circuit training class.
Cardio Line Dancing
Learn the latest dances and groove to the classics. You’ll have so much fun you won’t realize you’re getting a great workout.
This low-impact class will challenge your cardiovascular system and strengthen your muscles without stressing your joints.
This is a unique class that utilizes barbells, steps, and rubberized plate weights. This class is low impact and high energy. The focus is on a gradual progression to more challenging exercises.
This ab blasting workout will help develop a strong core. We will train the abdominals, obliques, pelvis, lower back, and glutes
Gentle Chair Yoga
This is a gentle approach to yoga for those who can’t work on the floor. Learn the basic principles of proper alignment using classical poses to lengthen and strengthen the body.
HIIT and Lift
This total-body strength and cardio conditioning class helps you blast fat and build lean muscle fast. You can modify any move and the group motivation will help you push past your plateaus.
This class allows instructors to bring their own style and creativity to class. It can be a circuit, an intense cardio, a barre or a bootcamp style class where anything goes, but one thing is certain, you will be challenged and have fun at the same time!
Mobility Movement (Formerly Delay the Disease)
This class is designed to empower those with Parkinson’s disease to take control with daily exercise. This program is free and open to everyone. Funding is provided by Mercy Health Foundation and the Thomases Family Endowment of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation. This class is also great for anyone looking to delay the process of aging as well. A low-impact class that utilizes fluid gentle movement through dynamic stretching to promote flexibility, improved range of motion and myofascial release. Improved mobility can not only mitigate risk of injury but also improves strength.
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of motion, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are all offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
Like meditation in motion, this mind-body class is a series of gentle exercises that creates harmony between the mind and body, cultivating and improving health and well-being.
A suspension training class that leverages gravity and body weight to develop strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability simultaneously. Space is limited to 10 participants per class.
This wildly addictive cardio dance workout is based on the hottest trending pop and hip hop music.
Yoga Level 1
This gentle, easy yoga class is for everyone but especially great for beginners. Learn the basic principles of proper alignment using classic poses. An emphasis will be placed on body positioning and breathing.
Yoga Level 2
This gentle stretching class with an emphasis on body positioning and breathing is for beginner and intermediate students.
Yoga & Meditation
This class consists of gentle guided postures followed by a brief relaxation period and concludes with a 15 minute guided meditation.
