PJ Library

PJ Library is a Jewish family engagement program implemented on a local level throughout North America. Through the program, children are mailed free, high-quality Jewish children's literature and music on a monthly basis. All families raising Jewish children from age six months through eight years are welcome to enroll. The books are also available at the JCC Library for checkout.

All PJ Library programming and events are open to members of the greater Youngstown community and are not limited to the Jewish community. 


Let’s Celebrate the Jewish High Holidays!
Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot all in one night! Let’s learn about the high holidays together through arts and crafts and fun activities.

Challah Tots
Join us for a fun-filled evening of kid-friendly challah making to prepare for Shabbat! We will make the challah dough together and you will take it home to bake for Shabbat the next day. Open to children 3-8 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Hanukkah Party
Come celebrate the Festival of Lights at the JCC! We will learn about Hanukkah, spin the dreidel, light the menorah and eat some latkes too!
