Healthier at Home
Mercy Health will present a guide to self-care and wise health consumerism. Participants will receive a free copy of the Healthier at Home book that contains more than 200 common health problems.

Vision Screening
Wellness Specialist and certified Dementia Practitioner and Gerontologist Amy Plant will join us for a free adult vision screening provided by the Area Agency on Aging.

Body Imaging with Belmont Pines
How do you see yourself and feel about your body when you look in the mirror? A specialist with Belmont Pines will discuss body image concerns that affect us all.

Neighborhood Health Watch with Mercy Health
During this free screening, a small sample of blood will be taken to check total cholesterol and glucose levels. There will also be a blood pressure check. Participants should fast eight hours prior to testing.

Diabetes Empowerment Education Program (D.E.E.P.)
We are partnering with the Mahoning County District Board of Health to present the Diabetes Empowerment Education Program (D.E.E.P.). This six-week workshop is for individuals with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes as well as pre-diabetes. This course teaches how to self manage diabetes with small lifestyle changes.
Date: Mondays, April 1 - May 6
