JCC SCHOOL OF DANCE

The JCC School of Dance program teaches children the technique, artistry, and discipline of dance in a cheerful and positive learning environment. Children develop a variety of transferable listening and learning skills in a classroom setting while being physically healthy and having fun!

Adults looking to learn a new hobby or dust off their old dance shoes are now welcome to join us for our Adult Dance Program offerings in Ballet and Tap. Classes range from beginner to advanced and are a great way to wind down from a stressful day in a relaxed environment.

30 Minute Class: $80/Member per course | $115/Non Member per course
45 Minute Class: $100/Member per course | $140/Non Member per course
Multi-Class Discount: $10 off the second course per family; $20 off each additional course per family.

NEW! POETRY & MOVEMENT WORKSHOP Ages 16+
This workshop is led by choreographer Morgan Messer in collaboration with the Kent State Wick Poetry Center.

Monthly Private Lessons

Receive private one on one dance lessons from our School of Dance instructors at the JCC or in our Zoom Virtual Classroom. Device with camera, microphone capabilities, and internet access for virtual lessons. Students will receive a lesson schedule and/or Zoom Virtual Classroom access code upon registration and payment at jccyoungstown.org. Price includes one 30 minute lesson monthly. Lessons can be scheduled with any JCC School of Dance educator in half hour increments and can be recurring in any of the available time slots, or on an as needed basis. Genres vary with instructor availability.
