JCC SCHOOL OF DANCE

The JCC School of Dance program teaches children the technique, artistry, and discipline of dance in a cheerful and positive learning environment. Children develop a variety of transferable listening and learning skills in a classroom setting while being physically healthy and having fun!

Adults looking to learn a new hobby or dust off their old dance shoes are now welcome to join us for our Adult Dance Program offerings in Ballet and Tap. Classes range from beginner to advanced and are a great way to wind down from a stressful day in a relaxed environment.

Hailey Gelzheiser

Miss Hailey Gelzheiser is a dance educator and choreographer in the Youngstown and Pittsburgh areas. Hailey graduated from Youngstown State University with her B.A. in Dance Management, where she received an extensive education not only in dance technique and choreography, but dance pedagogy as well. She has been with the JCC School of Dance since its inaugural session in 2017, just recently taking over as Artistic Director. Along with teaching at the JCC School of Dance, she also brings her expertise to many schools, studios, and dance teams in the area. Hailey feels so lucky to be able to bring her passion for dance to her students and foster their creativity through the art of dance day in and day out.
