JCare & J All Day
JCC of Youngstown provides a safe and fun learning environment for school aged children enrolled in grades K-8 at Akiva Academy and surrounding school districts. We believe that children’s daily lives should consist of positive reinforcement, socio-emotional development and learning, creativity, and individuality. Students will enjoy healthy snacks, participate in enrichment activities, and receive homework assistance. JCare (Grades K-6) (Youth)
This afterschool program is for kids in grades kindergarten through sixth for all schools in the surrounding area. Students will enjoy healthy snacks, participate in enrichment activities such as art and swimming, and receive homework assistance. Kids will engage in weekly themed lessons that include reading, math, and science activities. Parents/guardians can pick up their child any time before 6:00 p.m. Drop-in care is not available; students must be registered in advance.
Liberty buses students to the JCC.

J All Day (Grades K-5) (Youth)
J All Day is open to all surrounding school districts for students in grades kindergarten through five from 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. J All Day provides a fun day for students when schools are closed. Students will have opportunities to participate in enrichment activities, field trips, and programming throughout the day. A morning and afternoon snack will be provided, but students must bring a packed lunch. Drop-in care is not available; students must be registered in advance.

We also offer care for sudden school closures due to weather.

J All Day: Spring Break (Grades K-5) (Youth)
Spring Break is here! While school is out for a few days, come and spend your break with us! We've got so many fun activities planned for your little ones--check the schedule down below to see what we've got going on for Spring Break! Please note that a morning and afternoon snack will be provided, but students must bring a packed lunch. Don't forget to bring a swimsuit and a towel, too! Drop-in care is not available; students must be registered in advance.

Wear your wackiest clothes and Celebrate April Fools’ Day.
April 2 - Build Your Own Pizza
Learn about Passover and build your own Matzah Pizza.
April 3 - Maccabi Olympics
Participate in Olympic style games.
April 6 - Spring Into science
Enjoy a day of indoor/ outdoor science experiments.
April 7 - Petting Zoo
A Mobile Petting zoo will be coming from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
April 8 - Career Day
Various professionals will be visiting the campus to talk to the kids including a Bigfoot investigator.
April 9 - Carnival Day
The kids will enjoy a day full of carnival activities.
April 10 - Pajama and movie day
The kids can wear their pajamas and enjoy a movie.
