The J-AWAY program is designed to assist homebound Jewish seniors in the Youngstown area who are in need of an exercise program. Our certified personal trainers will create individual exercise plans and train clients in their own homes to help keep our Jewish seniors active and healthy. Each participant will receive a band and hand weights for their training at home.

The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) can show you how to eat healthier and be more active even on a limited budget. You will learn how to make food choices to improve the quality of the meals you serve to your family. EFNEP offers a series of nine, FREE, 45-60 minute workshops that offer opportunities for discussion, being physically active, and building food resource management skills. You will receive a FREE cookbook, grocery pad, and certificate of completion from OSU Extension after completing the program.
