Group Exercise Classes

Fitness classes will be offered with limited space. Reservations are recommended to ensure your spot. Guests without a reservation will be admitted to classes on a first come first serve basis until the class maximum is met.

Advanced Mobility
Focus on improving flexibility, range of motion and strength through a variety of exercises that target the entire body and will help you move more freely and efficiently. This is designed as an intermediate level class although modifications are always available.

Aqua Cardio Blast
This cardio class will get your heart pumping and strengthen all of your major muscles. Come work out in an inspiring, motivating group environment with fantastic music. This fun filled class will make you forget you are exercising!

Body Blast
This high intensity boot camp style class offers a blend of weight training and cardio. Modifications are always provided so all are welcome.

Cardio Circuit 
This class includes circuit training, cardio exercises, bodyweight exercises, and light weights. This high-intensity class focuses on strength building and muscular endurance. Tone your entire body and build your cardiovascular capacity with this fun and intense circuit training class.

Cardio Line Dancing
Learn the latest dances and groove to the classics. You’ll have so much fun you won’t realize you’re getting a great workout.

Chair Tai Chi
Like meditation in motion, this mind-body class is a series of gentle exercises that creates harmony between the mind and body, cultivating and improving health and well-being. .

Chair Yoga
This class will improve flexibility, relieve stiffness, strengthen the body, increase range of motion and improve body alignment and stabilization. It will also stimulate your mental well-being. Great for beginners or anyone who wants to focus on a gentle practice without all of the ups and downs of a regular yoga class.

Easy Yoga
This is a gentle floor class with emphasis on learning basic yoga postures, breath practices, and mental focus to assist in releasing tension in the body-mind, build strength and flexibility, and be in the present moment. Principles of alignment, stability, and concentration will be taught, allowing students to build energy as well as to profoundly relax. Students should be able to get down onto and back up from the floor.

Functional Fitness
Work every muscle in your body in this fast paced, cross training style, station-based class that incorporates kettlebells, battle ropes, TRX, slam balls, box jumps, rowing and more. The Functional Fitness room will be closed during this class time.

HIIT & Lift 
This total-body strength and cardio conditioning class helps you blast fat and build lean muscle fast. You can modify any move and the group motivation will help you push past your plateaus.

Mobility Movement
This class is designed to promote strength, balance, coordination and increase flexibility while building agility in order to delay the process of aging.

Funding is provided by Mercy Health Foundation and the Thomases Family Endowment of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation.

Mobility Plus
People who have arthritis, chronic oprthopedic conditions or those who are returning to exercise after injury will benefit greatly from this class. The concentration is on stimulating joint movements, improving range of motion and increasing balance.

Moove & Groove
Move your way to better health! Fun, easy to follow moves, combines old grooves with motivating tunes in this low impact but high energy aerobic workout.

Parkinson's Moves
This class is designed to empower those with Parkinson’s disease to take control with daily exercise. This program is free and open to those with Parkinson's and their caregivers. Funding is provided by Mercy Health Foundation and the Thomases Family Endowment of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation. A low-impact class that utilizes fluid gentle movement through dynamic stretching to promote flexibility, improved range of motion and myofascial release. Improved mobility can not only mitigate risk of injury but also improves strength.

Shred in FOUR
This class includes FOUR key components to shred that excess fat while building strength and endurance. Circuit training, cardio bursts, bodyweight exercises and finish with core training and stretching for a complete workout before you start your busy day.

SilverSneakers® Classic
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of motion, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are all offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

Slow Flow Yoga
A gentle, slow-paced vinyasa class focusing on linking breath and movement. This practice will strengthen the body while quieting the mind and building a true connection of body, mind, and breath. Develop more flexibility, strength, and balance both physically and personally through a slow practice of vinyasa followed by a reflective period of meditative stillness. Suitable for beginners or seasoned practitioners.

Step Aerobics
This aerobic-based class utilizes a platform with or without risers for a cardio workout. All levels welcome from beginners to seasoned steppers.

Strong by Design
A fusion of Pilates and strength training that focuses on mobility and toning muscles. This is a low impact, high intensity class that utilizes a variety of equipment.

TRX/Advanced
A suspension training class that leverages gravity and body weight to develop strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability simultaneously. Space is limited to 10 participants per class.

WERQ
A wildly addictive cardio dance workout based on the hottest trending pop and hip hop music.

Yoga & Meditation
This class is for everyone of all yoga levels. Learn the basic principles of proper alignment using classic poses to lengthen and strengthen the body. Emphasis will be placed on body positioning and breathing and concludes with a 15 minute guided meditation.
